Ben Jorgensen
Spanish Conversation & Fluency Instructor
With over 10 years teaching Spanish and a completed masters in Spanish Pedagogy, Professor Jorgenson specializes in conversational fluency and real world communication.
Some of his certifications include:
- B.A. in Spanish
- M.A. in Spanish Pedagogy
- Ph.D. Student in Education with an emphasis in Adult Learning
- Collegiate Spanish Instructor since 2014

Ana Victoria Madrigal
Spanish Language & Cultural Instructor
Ana Victoria is from Cancún, Mexico, as well as Houston, Texas. She focuses on helping students develop cultural understanding alongside language fluency.
Outside the classroom, Ana Victoria enjoys reading, watercolor painting, exploring different art forms, learning to cook dishes from cultures around the world, and spending time at the movies with family and friends.
Some of her certifications include:
- Bachelor's in Spanish and Education, with a Minor in Mexican-American Studies & Latin American Studies
- Masters of Arts in Spanish Pedagogy
- Masters in Education K-12 Leadership and School Administration
- ACTFL Spanish Proficiency-Superior Endorsement, Present
- Utah Secondary Teaching License K-12 in Spanish
- Utah Secondary Teaching License K-12 in English as a Second Language
Rachel Batemon
Spanish Pronunciation & Diction Specialist
Rachel enjoys traveling and exploring new places and cultures. She is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging learning environment as well as helping others improve their communication skills. She focuses on Spanish pronunciation, articulation, listening discrimination, and diction.
Some of her certifications include:
- B.S. in Speech Pathology with a minor in Spanish
• M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
• Served a mission in Barcelona, Spain
